It was 3 AM when we first realized we needed a solution. Yuki, our adventurous tabby, had just deposited a very much alive mouse in our bedroom. This wasn't the first time, and we knew it wouldn't be the last.
Like many cat owners, we loved giving our cats the freedom to explore outdoors. But the constant "presents" of mice, birds, and occasionally more exotic prey were becoming a serious problem. We tried everything - bells on collars, training, even keeping them indoors at night. Nothing worked.
That's when we realized: what if we could use technology to solve this age-old problem? What if we could give cats their freedom while keeping unwanted guests out of our homes?
The Journey to AI-Powered Innovation
We started with a simple idea: use computer vision to detect when a cat is carrying something. But as we dove deeper into the technology, we discovered something fascinating - we could do so much more.
